Sociology Minor

Minor Requirements
- Minimum 18 credits
- Minimum grade of ‘C’ in courses applied to the minor. P/F courses, including SOCY 396 , do not count toward the minor
- Minimum of 9 credits completed in residence at UMBC
- Students at Shady Grove may complete up to 9 credits of the minor at Montgomery College, through selection of the UMBC equivalent (UMS articulation agreement) sociology classes. Upper-level classes to fulfill the minor will be taken from among sociology course offerings at the Shady Grove Center

Complete the following: Electives (15 credits)
Complete additional courses in SOCY, including a minimum of 6 credits at the 300 level or higher and a maximum of 3 credits in ANTH. |
